Through the "Identify area" option you can access from the graphic to the alphanumeric identification of selected element.

Select to define zoom window Define window: It lets you select the viewing area. It is specially useful to make fast geographical approximations when searched area is known.
Select to zoom-in centering at one point Zoom in: It lets you become nearer to objects.
Select to zoom-out centering at one point Zoom out: It lets you become further from objects.
Select to move the image to chosen point Drag: It lets you modify the center of the image dragging and dropping the present image with the mouse.
Select to move the center to chosen point Move: It lets you modify the center of the image, clicking with the mouse on the point you want as new center of it. This can be achieved, with more power and less Precision, moving the square that identifies the viewed image in the navigation map.
Select to draw the line to measure Measure distances: it lets you measure the length in meters of a polygonal line drawed with the mouse.
Select to draw the area to measure Measure areas: it lets you measure the area in square meters of a polygon drawed with the mouse.
Select to draw the track to download Digitalize tracks: it lets you draw a track and download its corresponding UTM coordinates, allowing you to load them into a GPS receiver.
Select to view clicked cadastral parcel Identify area: It lets you know the graphical (it appears coloured) and alphanumeric identification of the area you click on.
Click to view all Álava Start: It lets you view the image of entire province.
Click to print current image Print: it offers the following options (conditioned as well to the capabilities of the user's printer):
  • A4 Portrait
  • A4 Landscape
  • A3 Portrait
  • A3 Landscape
Aditionally, it lets you choose among these alternatives:
  • With Raster background
  • Without Raster background
Then you can select the print scale. If you choose to print the raster background, the maximum print scale will render the image with the display size. On the contrary, if you choose to print the vectorial layer without raster background, the maximum print scale will re-scale the image to the size of the paper.
Click to send the current image by email Sending images by e-mail: it lets you send the viewed image to desired address, specifying the name and the address of the sender.
Click to link to the current map Link: the following fields appear:
  • Address to link to the map: in this field, you see a URL that you can copy and paste, for example in an email message.
  • HTML to embed the map into a web page: can copy and paste the HTML code fragment in your page to insert the map.
Click to download the cadastral cartography for the viewed area Cartography download: allows the downloading of the cadastrial cartography within the extension of a geographical window with a maximum size of 500 x 500 meters. Every element will be cut out by the outline of the window.
Click to view the help page Help: It opens this help page to the user of the service.

Other capabilities:

  • On the bottom-right of viewing window there is a bar which displays from left to right:
    • Monitor: it lets you assign the appropiate size to the screen to calculate accurately the scale of display.
    • Scale: it identifies the actual scale you are viewing the image. It also lets you choose among several scale options to view the image, keeping the center of present image.
  • On the top-right side of the screen there is a navigation map where the present viewing area is located that lets you move through the territory of Álava by clicking on it, keeping the display scale.
  • Above the graphical window you can see the measures in meters of viewed area and the options to go to next and previous images, if available, and to the start image.
  • On top of viewing area the UTM coordinates of the point where the cursor is located are displayed.
